Just bead it

I love the endresult, but threading all the beads is a pain, I don't have a needle that fits through my beads, so instead I put glue the end of the yarn to make it more resistant.
I started out with one of the wristwarmers, since threading the beads took me hours - the other one is still awaiting.
The knitting itself is really fun - so much so I finished the first writwarmer the same day (it was meant to be a portable project... well - I carried it all the way to the sofa...)
The pattern can be found here. I only did 3 repeats though, and it fit my wrist perfectly.
Next time I'll go for nicer yarn (this is really cheap sock-yarn) and more expensive beads (again - really cheap beads) it's quite a lot of work - too much work to not use proper materials.
Listening to music while beading also helps:

hi mette - lovely wristwarmer! vivian høxbro gives some good advice on how to thread pearls on yarn: use a pearl needle (very thin needle), thread it with sewing thread and bind a knot on the thread, so that it forms a loop. put the yarn through the loop, as if the loop was the eye of the needle, and put the pearls onto the needle, draw them over the sewing thread and onto the yarn. kind regards mutterpagh
Kirsten - thank you for the advice, I tried with a needle, but the yarn is too thick for the cheap beads, but a movienight recently made me thread the rest, so now I'm prepared for wristwarmer no. 2.
Hanne - de perler er så skidesmå at de ikke falder nogen vegne :-)men jo, jeg skal i gang med nr. 2 snart :-)
Tora - thank you - I'll get to it!
