Fastelavn already?
Last year, viola was a hippie, we already had the dress and just painted a few flowers on her cheeks and dressed her up with loads of pearls. Easy peasy. Only downside? We showed up 2 hours to late, and the party already ended...
So this year, we took extra notice of the time and date, and I started the dress a week ago. Loads of time, right?
well... not so much - the neckline didn´t turn out quite as I wanted it to, and I lost the motivation. And now I only have tomorrow to finish - so no handsewing pearls and stuff. Luckily the dress is on the big side, so hopefully she´ll use it for a long time. (Not that she even tried it on - in fact she runs away every time I try to convince her to look like a princess - mettetation-style.) I´ll add a bow on the back, and puff the sleeves a bit - and iron on stones - that´ll do the trick, I hope.
The crown (excuse the photo) is finished though - just needs a bit of elastic to keep it on.

Åh, hvor godt!! Det bliver et rigtig flot kostume og jeg er sikker på, at Viola bliver begejstret når hun får prøvet det i aktion ;0)

Den krone er for skøn, Mette. Den gad jeg godt iføre mig på en dag, hvor livet trængte til godt humør og farve. Ærgerligt at vi ikke mødtes på børnebazaren på Remisen. Jeg er lige vendt hjem efter at have mødt Tulipan, Hanne. kærlig hilsen Mette
