Eva´s eves 7 :: 12
I´ve been busy crocheting shawls lately, destashing like mad. For the first time I´ve found a pattern I´m willing to over and over again: Eva´s shawl.
So simple, so clever, so addictive - and a great stashbuster!
I´ve used 2 skeins of some green yarn, I think is Evilla, it was some of the first yarn I bought over the internet (which, for sure, makes this a stash project - I have no idea what else I would ever have made from this yarn) - after seeing this scarf. I bought the same color and yarn as the scarf, and made this one:
trimming with newly stash-added Dansk Pelsuld, lovely yarn - but really scratchy. I don´t mind, I like my shawls woolly, and smelling of sheep.
The first Eva I made was from a skein of Kauni (look, they have a new website) - it´s on the small side, and I´m thinking of adding a border - but can´t decide on the color.

The green shawl would be lovely with a border too - but again: what color?
All shawls are crocheted with a 6 mm. needle. And I´m down to 2 days of work for one shawl - sans border.
And yes - I feel like making a fourth!

look lovely, I been doing this shawl as well, but took me ages still haven't finish.
Holy cow, det er flot! Kanten gør lige hele forskellen!!!...Må straks gennemrode lagert for Kauni og hæklenål og skynde mig at smide det i kufferten!!

Interesting colour combinations and both of the shawls look lovely. I was planning to knit one, but maybe I'll use this pattern to crochet one instead as I'm more comfortable with crochet.
As always you are great inspiration to me.
Wauw - de er flotte. Specielt det pinkrøde med den smukke, smukke grønne kant!! Tak for link - tror bestemt fruen skal hækle lidt Kauni fra lageret...gad vide om jeg har en 6 mm nål...
Og tank for hint'et mht ravelympics...må lige i tænkeboks for at finde det rette projekt.
