There´s been sewing!
Viola and I made mini bean bags this morning, she was on my lab and very interested in how the sewing machine worked, mostly pulling the thread, or pushing a piece of fabric next to mine (not to worry, I didn´t sew while her fingers were near the needle at all).
The result:
6 mini bean bags before she lost patience, they are made from different thrifted fabrics, and some with a piece of history to them (click on the photo to see the notes on flickr). They´ve been so much fun today: throwing, stacking, hiding, dropping - and Viola even managed to use 2 as shoes for awhile - scooting over the floor.
And I had fun organizing them:
