Did somebody turn off the light?
Definitely time for wool and hot tea. And Christmas markets this weekend. I hope I´ll be able to go, but it seems like the whole weekend is almost planned ahead already - family.
Loads of plans for the rest of the year. I have big hopes for the boyfriend to get some spare time, which will result in a redecoration of the living room making room for a table for me to sew on - and more floorspace for Viola to play on. I´m really exited about this. But it also means I´ll have to get rid of a few books, not overly exited about this...
I´ve been stocking up on fabric (the usual: 50% off, small pieces big enough for little girl clothes, I´m a bargain hunter) and tea towels from the local discount market (2 make a pair of trousers or a a-line dress) and ribbons - so I´m really set to sew.
I would love to show you my bargains, but there just isn´t enough light. Maybe tomorrow.
I know, I promised to write down instructions for the vest and the scarf, and I haven´t forgotten (actually I did - until today. Came across the noro scarf on ravelry and felt really embarrassed. sorry), I´ll get around to do it eventually. Promise!
Meanwhile, to lighten up my (and hopefully yours too) day - some beautiful embroidery from Guatemala (Oh, how I miss this country... especially this time of the year):
